The Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research (CAWCR), a joint venture between CSIRO and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, will hold its fourth annual workshop, from the 9th - 11th November 2010. The workshop, which will explore the ocean sciences, will be held at CSIRO Division of Marine and Atmospheric Research, Castray Esplanade, Hobart, Tasmania.

Dr Trevor McDougall is Chair of the Workshop Committee.

Key themes for the workshop are:

  • Ocean Modelling
  • Ocean Processes
  • Mesoscale Oceanography and Forecasting

Keynote Presenters:

A number of prominent scientists and experts from overseas, Australian research agencies and universities have been invited to give presentations
