• BMRC are investigating the ability of BAM to represent the MJO.
• BMRC in collaboration with NCC and CSIRO Atmospheric Research are investigating techniques to produce precipitation forecasts from POAMA.
• BMRC, CSIRO Atmospheric Research and CSIRO Marine Research are working on a collaborative project to understand the role of ocean instability waves on the east Pacific SST
• BMRC are conducting long coupled integrations to understand the modes of variability of the POAMA coupled model
• BMRC is investigating the role of atmospheric initial conditions on POAMA forecasts
• BMRC is developing an advanced ocean data assimilation system based on the Ensemble Kalman Filter
