I just received an email
from Roger Atkinson of a dust-storm that has a terrific denisty current
character to it... it s a beauty.
The image is labelled the
12th; but in his email Roger said Griffith NSW last night at 7pm.
Perhaps Roger will
expand some more on source of the image, and others can fill us in on current/recent
dust events.

Sorry John, it's a military
secret. I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you. It came from
a military bod (at least I acquired it from one via RAAFnet). You're right
though, it was the day before yesterday (just testing!), at 7pm Griffith
time.
Cheers, Roger

That image + story was on the Sydney Morning Herald web site yesterday PM..

That's got to be the most
remarkable photo caption in a weather story that I've ever seen.
'With warning'..... is somebody having a 'let's praise the authorities'
day, or is it just a typo (surely there are no typos in the SMH)?
