Physical Processes and Modelling of the Water and Carbon Cycle

The Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research (CAWCR) will hold its inaugural annual Modelling Workshop from 27-29 November 2007.  The workshop will explore the theme of processes and modelling of the water and carbon cycle.  It will be conducted in the Bureau of Meteorology's Head Office, 700 Collins Street, Melbourne.  Dr Alan Seed is the Workshop Chair.

A number of prominent scientists and experts from overseas, Australian research agencies and universities have been invited to give presentations on the water and carbon cycle. Some key themes include:

Keynote presenters will include:

Praveen Kumar (University of Illinois, USA), Xu Liang (University of Pittsburgh, USA), and Colin Prentice (University of Bristol), and Francis Chiew (CSIRO).
